Located in Freeland, Washington. On Beautiful Whidbey Island. Red Tail Glass Works finally has it's very own "home". The Glass Shack has been a long time dream of Natalie's. It came to fruition this past June with the help and support of some very amazing friends. The building was originally a greenhouse, hand made for the builders daughter and her interest in landscaping/gardening. As we all know, children grow up, and interests change. This beautiful family donated the building to Natalie to use for the Glass Shack. (THANK YOU!) After the greenhouse was moved, lot's of love, hard labor, fun, laughs, tears and recycled materials were used. Amazing what can be put together from others remodeling, garbage or "unwanted" materials. Some donations were BRAND NEW! The spirit of the Glass Shack is pure creativity with lot's of heart and soul. Currently, the Glass Shack carries fused and stained glass works. The Glass Shack is very casual, open daily. We would love to have you drop by for a visit. Feel free to call in advance for a private viewing or look for the signs on the Highway during weekends.
Our best friends, visiting with their Dog, Morty. |
