December, 2011. The artist is still recovering from a lengthy illness. While on the mend, she has been exploring recycled bottle glass and coming up with some interesting functional wares, tumblers, platters, guitar slides and candles. Click here. Also she and friend Kitty have been collaborating producing 100% natural soy wax candles, unscented for fine dining and scented with essential oils for home use. They call their new venture "2 Dirty Birds" (combining RedTail GlassWorks with Kitty's "Dirty Girl Soaps" company). They are in process of making table toppers (Wine bottles converted to candles featuring 100% natural soy wax for restaurants and wineries for wholesale and retail purchase).

Other glass works by Natalie are currently at Music For The Eyes in Langley, WA, and Made By Ringling, in Sarasota, FL.

This book is not only well designed, features many projects, as well incredibly useful ideas for organizing a glass studio. Natalie's art and studio are featured throughout the book, including The Glass Shack.
